This is our family home in Walthamstow. When we purchased it it was a rental property. All of the original character had been taken out and there was a poorly built rear extension, loft conversion and front porch.

 

We demolished all of the non-original additions and built a new extension and loft conversion. We also fully refurbished the property, reinstated original features where possible and changed the layout throughout.

The loft and extension were done under permitted development with the kitchen making use of the neighbour consultation scheme for larger home extensions. The increased footprint and changes to the layout have created a lasting family home.
